Transfer your credits

Complete this free Transfer Credit Evaluation to see how your credits will apply to your desired major at Northwestern.

University of Northwestern accepts course work with grades of C- or higher from accredited and some non-accredited institutions. Courses are transferred on an individual basis.


Applying as a transfer student

If you have earned college credit after graduating from high school, you are considered a transfer student.

  1. Complete an Application for Admission 
  2. Submit official or unofficial college transcripts. Transcripts can be sent to

Bible requirements for transfer students

Transfer students are required to complete Bible courses on a proportional basis according to the number of transferable credits that are brought in before becoming a UNW student.
